I posted about tUnE-yArDs recently but I was so inspired by their live act that I had to share a second song. I got to see the band, headed up by Merrill Garbus, perform in Central Park two weeks ago and it was definitely one of the best shows I’ve ever witnessed. Merrill manages to loop the instruments and vocals herself live all the while exuding a unique and, I felt, authentic youthful energy. Their act blew the other performers - St. Vincent and Basia Bulat - out of the park (literally muahahah) and this song was the star of the set: tUnE-yArDs- “Hatari” — Basil
