Just stumbled upon Nurses. Anybody heard of them? Word on the street is that they put together this debut album, Apple’s Acre, in the attic of an old Victorian in Portland.
They sound like a stripped-down Yeaysayer to me. Nurses’ sound is just as psychedelic, but less electronically layered.
