In just a few short days, I ship off to Sweden to (hopefully) see the northern lights. To celebrate, I gathered together some of my favorite Swedish music.
Recently I read that Sweden was the third largest exporter of music, behind the US and UK. No idea if that’s actually true, but any country that puts The Knife on their official tourism website gets a thumbs up from me…
The Cardigans - “Lovefool”

Lykke Li - “Little Bit”
Robyn and Kleerup - “With Every Heartbeat” (Bonus points: They’re both Swedes)
Fever Ray - “Seven”
The Tallest Man on Earth - “King of Spain” (“I am a native of the North Pole/And that can mess up any kid)
Royksopp - “Eple”
Peter Bjorn and John - “Young Folks” (Lay off, it’s an iconic song)
Jose Gonzalez - “Heartbeats” (Yes, Jose is Swedish.)
Ace of Base - “Beautiful Life”
